The information contained within the Pillar app is a summary of the information held on your full credit report at Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. You can also access your full report on Equifax.

The length of time information is kept on your report can vary depending on what type of data it is, however account performance data (information on credit products, including loans and mortgages) will stay on your file for six years from the date they are closed or settled. Or, where an account has fallen into default, six years from the date of the default.

The data retention rules that credit referencing agencies must follow are in line with current data protection regulation and regulated by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
